Description

Yeben Super Bio Rings provide biological filtration for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Their porous structure offers surfaces for beneficial bacteria to colonise, supporting the breakdown of ammonia and nitrite as the filter matures.

The hollow ring shape allows water to circulate through and around the media. Suitable for compatible canister filter baskets and sump chambers, these rings can be used when establishing a new filter or adding biological media to an existing system.

Supplied in a convenient10-litre carry bucket, with individual rings measuring approximately16 × 16 mm.

Directions for Use

Rinse before use to remove loose dust. Place after mechanical filtration, where water can flow freely through the rings. Allow time for beneficial bacteria to establish, and monitor ammonia and nitrite while the aquarium cycles.

Maintenance

When necessary, gently rinse established media in removed aquarium water to clear accumulated debris. Avoid soap, detergents and replacing all biological media at once.
