The aquarium items are competitively priced and we supply in sizes for your little fish friend up to bulk quantities as well. We stock all the items you need for your freshwater and saltwater aquarium - Fish Food, Filter Media, Filters, Water conditioners and treatments.
Our website prices online are the same in store - we do not charge any extra.
Our aim is to supply the Aquarium hobbyist / breeder products that are easy to use and perform to the highest levels. Come into our store or purchase from the comfort of your own home. We have a preference for Australian Made products that make up a large proportion of the products that we supply.

It all started in the mid 1970's with the owner John Reddicliffe exploring the local creeks of Brisbane and starting his first tank. This continued with the interest in fish and enjoying the hobby for many years. After dabbling in breeding fish it was not until around 2005 that breeding bristlenose catfish and L-Number catfis started to take on a bigger role. In 2009 the business name The Tech Den was Registered.
After a number of years of breeding it was time to convert the hobby into a profession where it originally started with a stocked range of 40 local products.
We opened our first store at 1/3 Lear Jet Drive at Caboolture and the store was a little over 110 square meters. After short time we quickly outgrew this store and moved to Cessna St Caboolture with a store more than twice the size. It was again only a few years before we outgrew this one too. Then it was Piper St and 660 square metres, but that only lasted 5 years and we are now in a brand new 1200 square metre building in Alta St Caboolture.
We are a family orientated Australian Business with the Owner John Reddicliffe and joint owner Jeanette Tyler (his partner). The Store Manager is Dean Jury (his Nephew).
We have over 6000 reviews of products from our customers giving a personal review of the products. We do not do any reviews ourselves and do not pay for reviews.

The Tech Den understands the damage that ornamental fish can
do to our waterways and native species. We would like to pass on this
information and provide a service to help prevent ornamental fish being
released in our waterways as well as rehoming unwanted fish. The Tech Den will
accept all unwanted, surrendered freshwater fish and we are happy to offer
these surrendered fish to customers free of charge provided you can give them a
good home. We would like to tank Aqua One in their assistance with this
program.
The adoption program rules include:
Flat rate delivery of just $9.50 no matter how big your order is and delivered to your door Australia Wide. Some big bulky items are excluded and will be designated as "In Store Pick Up" or shown only available to some areas. In the event that you would still like the item - contact us for a quote.
