Red Sea REEFER G2 Concept

The new REEFER G2 models are 68cm wide and 65cm high and are available in 210cm long.

They are constructed using 19mm ultra-clear glass and sit on extra durable HPL coated plywood Marine Spec cabinets for greater water resistance.

The feet are fully adjustable for perfect levelling on any surface.

The REEFER XXL series have advanced sumps with the following exciting new features:

An adjustable height skimmer chamber, enabling you to set the water level (between 21-27cm) for optimal skimmer performance.

A “Refugium Ready” sump with two pre-set positions allows you to decide how much of the sump you want for your skimmer and other reactors and how much as a dedicated refugium chamber.

4 micron filter bags

RO litre reservoir that can be slid aside when necessary for pump maintenance.

G2 Features:

Extra fortified plywood cabinet

The marine-spec laminated cabinets follow the contour of the glass and are now all fortified and made of plywood. The “floating tank” feature is now reinforced with front aluminum supports on all REEFER 625 G2 models and bigger.

Dual return pump outlets

All REEFER 350 G2 models and bigger now have dual side-facing return pump outlets, creating an even better water distribution.

Assembly-ready piping

All pipes are preformed with quick connectors at all joints (no gluing required). Extra bulkhead connectors are available in both Metric and USA sizes for those that want to customize their sump piping.

High precision valve

All models now have a new and improved high precision valve on the downflow pipe, allowing for easy regulation of the flow and a near silent operation.

Professional REEF-SPEC sump

The professional sump includes a mechanical filtration media compartment (with micron filters & filter cups), which is easily removable, an optional refugium compartment, an adjustable height skimmer chamber for optimal skimmer performance, and a bubble trap to prevent air bubbles from returning to the aquarium.

Rimless ultra-clear glass

REEFER G2 aquariums are rimless, and constructed from ultra-clear, bevelled-edge glass with increased thickness of up to 19 mm or 0.75”.

Extra fortified plywood cabinet

The marine-spec laminated cabinets follow the contour of the glass, and are all made of plywood. Larger models are now reinforced with aluminum supports.

Silent downflow system

The enlarged rectangular inlet to the downflow pipe reduces sensitivity to changes in waterflow, resulting in a quieter operation.

High precision valve

All models now have a new and improved high precision valve on the downflow pipe, allowing for easy regulation of the flow and a near silent operation.

Dual side-facing return pump outlets & large overflow box

For optimal water circulation and increased surface skimming.

ReefMat-ready

REEFER G2 systems have a removable, ReefMat-ready mechanical filtration compartment, complete with micron filter socks and media cups.

To ensure a constant water level in the pump compartment, all REEFER sumps include an integrated automatic freshwater top-up unit, guaranteeing a constant, stable water flow throughout the complete system.
Supplied as a complete self-assembly kit, all pipe work is ready without the need for any gluing.
