Material and Construction

Unlike traditional furniture-style stands, this cabinet is designed for a "floating" or ultra-minimalist gallery aesthetic.

Main Structure: Built using thick, heavy-duty glass panels (typically 10mm to 12mm thickness).

Clarity: It often utilises low-iron (Opti-Clear) glass so the cabinet itself doesn't have the typical green tint, allowing it to blend seamlessly into modern interiors.

Top Surface: Features a high-strength glass top specifically rated to hold the static weight of a filled 60cm aquarium (approx. 70kg+).

Design Features

Total Transparency: The primary appeal is the ability to see through the stand or see the equipment (like high-end stainless steel canisters) as part of the "industrial art" of the setup.
Internal Shelving: Usually includes glass internal shelving for CO2 canisters or filtration systems.
Dimensions: 600mm (L) x  300mm (W) x 800mm (H)
Stability: While it looks delicate, the glass panels are structurally engineered with high-strength silicone and specialised adhesive bonding to ensure it is rigid and safe for water weight.

Important Considerations

Equipment Aesthetics: Since the cabinet is glass, your filtration (hoses, pipes, and canister) and CO2 system will be visible. This is why it is often paired with Stainless Steel Lily Pipes and Clear PVC/Silicone tubing.

Maintenance: Glass cabinets require more frequent cleaning than wood to prevent fingerprints or water spots from distracting from the display.
