Care Guide

Before use, rinse the Mantis Bio Sphere gently with aquarium water to remove any loose dust or particles. Place the media in an area of your filter with consistent water flow to ensure maximum biological filtration. Avoid rinsing the Bio Spheres under tap water, as chlorine and chloramine can harm the beneficial bacteria living on the media.

For routine maintenance, only clean the Bio Spheres when water flow becomes restricted, using water removed from the aquarium during a water change. Replace the media only if it becomes physically damaged, as the established bacterial colony provides long-term biological filtration and contributes to a stable, healthy aquarium.
