Generally suitable for peaceful community aquariums with appropriately sized tank mates. Avoid very small fish that may be viewed as food and aggressive or persistent fin-nipping species. Angelfish can become territorial, particularly when forming pairs and breeding.
Habitat:
Best kept in a tall, well-planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space. Plants, driftwood and vertical structures provide natural shelter and help replicate their slow-moving, vegetation-rich natural environment.
