If you want a water feature but don’t have access to mains power, the PS solar pump kit range from PondMax is a simple, budget-friendly solution.

We carry the PondMax PS1700 and PondMax PS3500, designed for small to medium features that don’t have fish. Everything you need to set up the pump is included in the box — pump, cable, solar panel, and a range of accessories.

If you already have a pond, you can be up and running in less than five minutes. The setup is very simple:

Find a sunny spot for your solar panel and position it with the included stakes. Place the pump in your pond, run the lead back to the solar panel and plug it in. Try the different fountain heads and outlets to see what works best for you.

All you need is sunlight for your panel. They’re ideal for running a water feature in a remote part of your property, a corner of your yard, or on a deck or balcony. If you’re renting, they’re perfect — you can simply pack them up and take them with you when you move.

With passing clouds, the solar pump will have a variable flow, and it won’t run after dark.

PondMAX DC Solar Pumps are great for medium sized water features and small ponds with no fish. You can add the optional battery backup box to enable 4-6 hours of run time after dark.
